Hyderabad: Five organs of 60-year-old donated

Two kidney, two corneas and one liver were donated by the family to the government scheme.

Hyderabad: Five organs of sixty-year-old D Abhiram were donated to the Jeevandan scheme of the government by his sons.

A retired private employee living in Miyapur, Abhiram had undergone a heart valve surgery, but after 10 days he fell down at home.

He was rushed to Care Hospital, Nampally, but was declared brain dead due to severe internal bleeding. Both his sons, Venkata Santosh and Siva Satish, were counselled and they agreed for organ donation.
