Hyderabad: Past is past, let us try to uphold the sovereignty and rights of the house, said AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao after announcing that the High Court division bench has set aside the orders of the single bench on YSRC MLA R.K. Roja.

Meanwhile, YSRC members including party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy wore black badges as a mark of protest against the Speaker’s decision not to allow Roja into the House despite the High Court order.

After the Speaker's announcement of the division bench order, minister K. Atchennaidu wanted to know why the YSRC members were wearing black badges now. Were they protesting against the division bench order on Roja, he asked.
