K Chandrasekhar Rao vows Rs 25 Lakh for kin of slain jawans

It was announced that the state government would provide Rs 25 lakh to each of the 40 families of CRPF jawans as assistance.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday announced, on the floor of the Assembly, exgratia of Rs 25 lakh to families of each of the CRPF jawans and officials who died in the Pulwama terror attack.

The Assembly unanimously resolved to condemn the terrorist attack and express deep sympathies and condolences with families of those who lost their lives.

While introducing a resolution in the House condemning the Pulwama attack, it was announced that the state government would provide Rs 25 lakh to each of the 40 families of CRPF jawans as assistance.

The Chief Minister said, “Even as we offer our tributes to the jawans who lost their lives, the government has decided to provide Rs 25 lakh as ex-gratia to each of the families of jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack.”
