Mumbai: Class I student dies in school

Police has registered an accidental death report.

Mumbai: A six-year-old boy, Swarang Dalvi, died due to unknown reason during recess at Chandivali-based Pawar Public School on Thursday morning. Police has registered an accidental death report. 

According to the police, Swarang fainted on the second floor while playing during the school’s short recess (between 9.50 am and 10.15 am). The kid was rushed to Hiranandani Hospital, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. 

His post-mortem is being conducted at the civic run Rajawadi Hospital police officials said. The Pawar Public Charitable Trust runs the school and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule is its managing trustee.
