Additional DCP T Pulinder Reddy suspended over conduct

The order barred the cop from leaving the headquarters without permission.

Hyderabad: Additional DCP, Rachakonda, T. Pulinder Reddy was placed under suspension due to alleged misconduct and disobeying senior officials, until the conclusion of his disciplinary proceedings.  The order read: “Pulinder Reddy has exhibited gross misconduct by his action, disobedience of instructions of superior officers, insubordination, threatening and intimidating subordinate staff, abuse and misuse of his official power besides getting involved in a criminal case.”

“He always avoids duties assigned by a superior officer and was found inept in the discharge of his official duties. He has directly conducted a press meet against his superior officers and subordinate officers, causing immense embarrassment and irreparable damage to the image of police in the eyes of common public and thereby violated the Conduct Rules,” the order said. The order barred the cop from leaving the headquarters without permission.
