Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, 29 IPS officers transferred in Karnataka

Bengaluru: In a major reshuffle ahead of Lok Sabha elections, the state government has transferred 29 IPS officers, including many from Bengaluru.

ADGP (intelligence) Amar Kumar Pandey, a 1989 batch IPS officer, has been replaced B, Dayanand, IGP, central range, with immediate effect.

K.V. Sharath Chandra, IGP, Southern Range, Mysuru has been transferred as IGP, Central Range, in place of Dayanand.

lsha Pant, who was SP and Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru (South East Division), while Dr M.B. Boralingaiah, DCP, Bengaluru (South East Division) has been transferred as SP, Intelligence (Administration), Bengaluru.

Dr Chetan Singh Rathor, DCP, Bengaluru (North Division), has been transferred as Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru, while N. Shashi Kumar, Superintendent Kalaburagi has been transferred as DCP, Bengaluru (North Division).

H.S. Revanna, IGP, Northern Range, Belagavi, had been  transferred and posted as Inspector General (Prisons), Bengaluru in the upgraded post, by keeping the post of DIG (Prisons), Bengaluru in abeyance.

Dr P.S. Harsha, DIG (Prisons), Bengaluru has been transferred and posted as Director, Security & Vigilance, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Bengaluru.

Abhinav Khare, SP, Shivamogga District, has been transferred as Commandant, Home Guards, Bengaluru. Karthik Reddy, SP, Chikkaballapura District, has been transferred as Assistant IGP (Crime), Bengaluru.

Dharmender Kumar Meena SP, Chamarajnagar District, has been transferred as SP, CID, Bengaluru. Laxman Nimbargi, SP, Udupi District, has been transferred as SP, wireless, Bengaluru.

Dr A. Subramanyeswara Rao, DIG, who was awaiting a posting has now been posted as Deputy Inspector General (Intelligence), Bengaluru.

T.R. Suresh, DIG & Commissioner of Police Mangaluru City, has been transferred as DIG & Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Units, Bengaluru.

Vipul Kumar, IGP & Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru, has been transferred as Inspector General (Southern Range), Mysuru. He will also hold a concurrent charge of IGP & Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru.

Amrit Paul, IGP (Administration), has been posted as IGP (Eastern Range), Davanagere.

M. Nanjundaswami, IGP & Additional Commissioner of Police, Administration, Bengaluru City, has been transferred as lGP, Ballari Range.

Raghavendra Suhasaa, IGP, Railways, Bengaluru has now been posted as IGP, Northern Range, Belagavi.

Sandeep Patil, DIG & Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Units, Bengaluru will take over as DIG & Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City.

Vikas Kumar Vikas, DIG & Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Bengaluru has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General (Anti Naxal Force), Karkala Udupi District.

Lada Martin Marbaniang, SP, Yadgir District, has been transferred as SP Kalaburagi.

K. Santosh Babu, SP, Gadag district, has now been posted as SP, Chikkaballapura District.

Nisha James, Commandant, 4th Battalion, KSRP, Bengaluru has been transferred as SP, Udupi District.

Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagawan, SP, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru, has been transferred as SP Yadgir.

D.L. Nagesh, SP, CID, Bengaluru has been transferred and posted as DCP, Law & Order, Hubli-Dharwad City.

Dr M. Ashwini, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Crime, Nrupatunga Road, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Superintendent, Shivamogga District.

N. Vishnuvardhana, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Mysuru City, Mysuru is transferred and posted as DCP (intelligence), Bengaluru.

H.D. Ananda Kumar, SP, CID, Bengaluru has transferred as Superintendent of Police, Chamarajanagar District.

The government has cancelled the orders and postings (on promotion) of P. Rajendra Prasad, as DIG &

Commissioner of Police, Belagavi City. He has been posted as DIG (Recruitment), Bengaluru.

The orders and postings (on promotion) of B.S. Lokesh Kumar, as DIGP and  Commissioner of Police, Hubbali-Dharwad City stands cancelled and he has been posted as DIG & Commissioner of Police, Belagavi.
