Hyderabad: Late by 5 min, Indigo stops 2 passengers

Hyderabad: Two passengers were not allowed to board an Indigo flight from Hyderabad to Raipur on Sunday for being late by five minutes.

Ms Farah Yasmeen and Mr Hemanth Rao, private employees from Kolkata, were in Hyderabad to attend a conference. Airline staff did not allow them to board the flight as they reached late.

Mr Rao told DC that the Indigo staff closed the doors though they were on time and that there were still five minutes before boarding time when they reached.

They entered into an argument with airline staff and demanded to be placed on the next flight without being charged additional fare. The management insisted on payment of the fare, they said.
