CHENNAI: Actor-politician Kamal Haasan on Friday slammed the AIADMK Government for the “murders caused by administrative inefficiency and neglect” witnessed in the road deaths of techie Subhasri, young Dheena Senthil and driver Sethurajan in recent days.

“Murders due to official neglect continue to happen in Tamil Nadu and these must stop forthwith. We are not here just to be expressing condolences”, he said on his twitter handle, while exhorting his fans and the members of his 'Makkal Neethi Maiyam' party to turn to social media to voice protest.

“They (rulers) only practice politics of terror, crushing us if we ask questions and threaten to cut off our tongues. I do not have an iota of fear or respect for these indifferent officers and half-cocked politicians. Hold my hand if you have such fear and the MNM will take up your fight to deliver justice”, Kamal declared in a video he posted on twitter.

“There can be nothing more idiotic than remaining slaves for ever while exercising the power to elect the rulers. They (rulers) have labeled you as ordinary people (saadaarana makkal) to confine you to permanent slavery. I strongly believe that these ordinary people can create extraordinary personalities”, said Kamal in his video where he exhorts the viewer: “Come, join me. Let's challenge the wrong-doings. Let's create a new leadership. Tomorrow is ours”.
