Karnataka: Lokayukta Justice visits Bellandur Lake

Bengaluru: After officials from the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban Development visited infamous Bellandur on June 6, Lokayukta Justice Vishwanath Shetty visited the lake on Tuesday.

During the inspection, Justice Shetty was accompanied by officials from the BBMP and BDA.

Addressing the media after the inspection, Justice Vishwanath urged the civic agencies to clean up the lake within a month and requested the public to cooperate with the civic bodies. 

The Lokayukta also visited Varthur Lake.
