Covid behind, Titan in growth phase now: MD

Hyderabad,: Titan Company Ltd, the leader in lifestyle products, has entered a growth phase after recovering from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, said a senior official of the Tata Group company.

"We have recovered from the Covid pandemic long back. Now we are in the growth phase. The last year itself we have witnessed a 30 per cent growth in sales," said  C.K. Venkataraman, the managing director of Titan Company Limited.

He was in Hyderabad to launch of multiple brand outlets across jewellery, watches, eye care and ethnic wear.

Though people have got accustomed to researching and buying a product online, Venkataraman said Titan has seen a 20-25 per cent increase in footfalls. The online sales, he said, remained 10 per cent for the company because people still prefer to buy high value jewellery at physical stores.

He said Titan has internalised the Covid lessons to remain agile and focus on people.
