Hyderabad: Prohibitory orders issued for 24 hours

Temporary structures like shamianas, pandals, khannath including usage of microphones will not be allowed on thoroughfares.

Hyderabad: In the view of counting for Lok Sabha poll scheduled for May 23, the police has issued prohibitory orders. The police has prohibited bursting of crackers, processions, speeches and merry making.

To maintain peace, Hyderabad  police commissioner Anjani Kumar has prohibited any assembly of five or more persons and any kind of processions, carrying of sticks either with or without flags, lathies, fire arms, or any other item which can be used as weapons for offence or defence by persons in processions, a big gathering or meetings within a radius of one km from the counting centre.

Temporary structures like shamianas, pandals, khannath including usage of microphones will not be allowed on thoroughfares, public places and all other places where people may gather.

Speeches, gestures or mimetic representation, exhibition or dissemination of pictures, symbols, placards or any other thing which is likely to create religious animosity or hatred between different communities or individuals or is likely to bring about commission of an offence or disturbance to or in contempt of the law or of a lawful authority, is prohibited.
