Hyderabad: Negligence of GHMC takes toll on traffic police

Hyderabad: Due to negligence of GHMC officials, traffic cops are left to bear the brunt of uncleared debris.

The GHMC officials as a part of clearing the footpaths from NMDC to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital dug an encroachment, leaving the debris unattended.

The debris lying on the road is causing huge traffic jams during the peak hours.

Speaking about the issues, Asif Nagar traffic inspector said, “The GHMC after digging a footpath at NMDC to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital is yet to clear the debris. We have given them an official letter to GHMC officials but they said that the notice should be given to HMDA. There is a severe traffic problem in the morning and evening during peak hours”.
