Thiruvananthapuram: Complete flood-hit houses before March 31, says Pinarayi Vijayan

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday directed district collectors to complete the houses in flood-affected areas whose construction have begun, before March 31.

He was speaking at the meeting of collectors and department heads at the guest house here. The collectors should not consider the activities related with rebuild Kerala as routine work and take these tasks as a challenge.

He said all works related to annual plan should also be completed on priority. Sustainable methods and latest technology need to be used for Nava Kerala projects .

Pinarayi said the administration should take up matters of financial assistance as special cases and take appropriate action. The financial assistance should be disbursed in a time-bound manner.
