Hyderabad: Now, Metro cards can be recharged with RuPay

Due to payment network integration issues with various players, several citizens have been raising issues with RuPay integration.

RuPay card scheme was launched in 2012 to fulfil the Reserve Bank of India's vision to have a domestic, open and multilateral system of payments.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro stations are now backing India’s domestic payment network RuPay. Due to payment network integration issues with various players, several citizens have been raising issues with RuPay integration. 

RuPay cards are now accepted at all Metro stations for recharging the card through POS machine.
