Visakhapatnam: The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEI) will host an international conference from January 17-19 to encourage women entrepreneurship in the country through innovation, incubation and training. “The three-day event will be a platform for women entrepreneurs across the country to develop business networks, identify global trade opportunities, build their brand image and import the latest technology advancements in the world,” ALEI president K. She has identified that garments and food processing are some of the sectors where women are actively involved but need to improve their exports. This conference will focus on interaction, mentor ship and support for women in business. Due to advanced, technology driven and smart manufacturing trends, industrial automation has experienced a rapid growth in the past few years. Robotics and automation has provided major opportunities to improve manufacturing processes. The event educates women manufacturers on current innovations, challenges and trends presented by dynamic technology experts, the president informed.

According to ALEI members, more than 200 international women delegates would participate in the event. India’s V-P M. Venkaiah Naidu, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and state HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao will be the chief guests and SAARC Secretary-General Amjad Hussain were also invited.
