Karnataka Lokayukta office door set on fire

According to the fire and emergency officials, a passerby noticed the fire and alerted the control room at 9.35 pm.

BENGALURU: A suo motu case has been taken up by the police after few unidentified miscreants set fire to the entrance door of Lokayukta office, located in M S building, on Tuesday night. According to the fire and emergency officials, a passerby noticed the fire and alerted the control room at 9.35 pm. Soon, a team was pressed into the service while the police also visited the spot and conducted a detailed probe. A fire official said the entrance door to the Lokayukta office got partially damaged in the fire, which was lit with the help of waste paper and cloth. Though there were security personnel deployed in the office, besides policemen, no one came to know about the fire.
