Amaravati: The crucial phase in the establishment of world-class new capital Amaravati is all set to  start on Monday.

The APCRDA, which was formed to establish and develop Amaravati, completed  the first phase of land collection under Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) amidst various  difficulties. Now the APCRDA will start the important second phase of reconstituted plots distribution to speed up the Amaravati establishment works.

The APCRDA selected Nelapadu  village of Amaravati capital region to start the crucial phase of reconstituted plots distribution and conducting awareness programme about allotment of plots under lottery system to pooled farmers.

According to the CRDA officials, the reconstituted plots would be allotted under lottery system. If a pooled farmer wishes to get his three reconstituted plots, then the CRDA will allot the same as one bit. The pooled farmers have showed reluctance to take south facing and road soola (corner) facing plots so the CRDA decided to distribute plots with West, North and East directions.

The allotting of the plots would be started from western direction by giving a unique number to every plot. An officials said that the CRDA will show the reconstituted to the pooled farmers in  the layout after three weeks of allotment. The layout of reconstituted plots proposed in 1,100 acres of lands in Nelapadu with 1,240 plots with roads, parks and other amenities.

These plots were prepared on the basis of the requisitions submitted by the pooled  farmers through 9.18 form of CRDA.

Pooled farmers of Nelapadu, D. Subba Rao and others said that the reconstituted plots  layout is similar to formation of a new colony or a small village with urban infrastructure. The proposed internal roads, connectivity roads, parks, common utilities and other basic  amenities will drive the pooled farmers to live in the colony.

They said that west facing  and road corner facing plots are not preferable, so they are wishing to take East, North  and West facing plots and gave their options. They added that they are eager to know the  place of their reconstituted plot and hoped for development of the new layout in all aspects  in the future by the government.
