Hyderabad: Man collapses while crossing the road, dies

The deceased was going to a local liquor shop when he suddenly hit the divider and collapsed.

Hyderabad: A  65-year-old man died on Friday, while he was crossing the road in Mailardevpally. 

The man named Dashrath, 65 came to Hyderabad three days ago from Chintaki to visit his daughter in the city, said P. Jagadeeshwar, inspector of the Mailardevpally police station. The deceased was going to a local liquor shop when he suddenly hit the divider and collapsed. He suffered a head injury and was rushed to a nearby hospital. 

“He was severely injured and could not make it to the hospital. He died on his way to the hospital in the ambulance,” added the official. Officials were informed about the incident by M. Tirupathi, an auto driver.

A case has been registered under section 174 of Cr.PC.
