Kurnool: Raising a red flag that the “unholy alliance” between TRS and YSRC was going to harm the interests of Andhra Pradesh State, Congress leader By reddy Rajasekhar Reddy said that a day-long hunger strike was planned at Amaravati on the day when Chandrasekhar Rao landed on Andhra Pradesh’s soil.

Speaking to reporters at Srisailam, he said that YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extending a warm welcome to KCR was a “third degree blunder” and said it was a pity that Jagan had to drop out at the semi-finals stage itself in the run-up to the Chief Minister gaddi. “No sane person would vote for the YSRC,” he said.  Besides, Jagan had lost a chance to give a fight to the other corrupt regime officiated by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Reminding of the sacrifices made by great leaders of Rayalaseema in securing waters from Krishna and Rajolibanda diversion scheme, he said Jagan extending a friendly hand to the family of Chandrasekhar Rao was mortgaging the interests of Rayalaseema farmers.

Terming Chandra-sekhar Rao as a “big villain” for Telugu people, he said, “Any effort to associate with such a villain is compromising the State’s interests and such a party has lost the right to rule the state by default,” he said.
