She Walk: Hyderabad organises event to encourage women empowerment

Hyderabad: The Society for Cyberabad Security Council on Saturday organised a 'She Walk' emphasising the need for women empowerment and their safety.

More than 1000 women from various IT organisations took part in the event.

The walk was flagged off by Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Sandeep Shandilya, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) West Zonal Commissioner Harichandana and Padma Shri Dr Anagani Manjula.

Speaking at the event, Shandilya said, "Women safety has been of paramount importance to us at Cyberabad police. Every complaint we receive is treated with utmost seriousness; it is recorded and thoroughly investigated. We make sure that the complainant is satisfied with the outcome.”
