Our coalition strong and stable: Tourism minister Sa Ra Mahesh

The BJP cannot lure any MLA from the coalition partners, and therefore there is no threat to the government. Sa Ra Mahesh said.

Mysuru: Tourism minister Mr Sa Ra Mahesh said on Friday the coalition government would complete its tenure and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy would continue to rule the state as Chief Minister over next five years.

He told the media here: “BJP leaders are trying to topple the coalition government over the last seven months, but their dreams of forming a government will not be fulfilled. The BJP cannot lure  any MLA from the coalition partners, and therefore there is no threat to the government.”

On the CLP meeting held in Bengaluru on Friday, he said “We have nothing to do with it. It is the responsibility of Congress leaders to protect their MLAs."  

On Hampi Utsav, he said "We are ready to celebrate it. The date will be finalized after discussions with local leaders.”
