Kidneys, liver of brain dead man donated to jeevandan scheme

With the consent of his family members, two kidneys and one liver were donated to the scheme.

Hyderabad: Three organs of a 65-year-old M. Narasimha Reddy were donated to the Jeevandan scheme of the state government after he was declared brain dead.

Mr Reddy hailing from Thimmapur village in Warangal district met with a road accident on December 14 due to which he suffered severe head injury. When he was rushed to Yashoda Hospital for treatment, the doctors declared him  brain dead. With the consent of his family members, two kidneys and one liver were donated to the scheme.
