Hyderabad: D. Anil Goud, one of the victims, is the only son of toddy tapper Sagar Goud, who wanted his son to study well and settle in a good position in life. The eyes of all the victims were donated by the families. Amanraj’s father works in the Gulf, while Sairatan’s father runs a kirana store.

His relatives said that though Sagar was not aware of the hotel management course, he readily agreed when Anil told that he wanted to pursue it.  “His wish was that Anil should study whatever he liked and move ahead in life. He had no other expectations from him. The couple collapsed after knowing about the accident,” said Sagar’s cousin. Sairatan, younger son of his parents, had gone to his home last Sunday after a long time to meet his parents. “Though home was only three hours away from the college, he would visit only when he had any work,” said his uncle.
