Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samiti chief M. Kodandaram said the BRS government had murdered M. Pravalika, a job aspirant, by trying to assassinate her character. He pointed out that the BRS manifesto steered clear of youths and jobs.

Speaking at a meeting of the ’unemployed joint action committee,” Kodandaram challenged minister K.T. Rama Rao to prove, at the press club in Somajiguda on October 21, the government claims that it had given 2.25 lakh jobs.

Dolly Sharma, AICC member, said, “The comments of the ministers are adding salt to injury. The BRS government should accept that they have failed.”

TPCC spokesperson M.D. Riyaz claimed that the government was shifting Pravalika’s family to Hyderabad to ensure that party leader Rahul Gandhi does not meet her.

Prof. Vinayak Reddy said, “We should have woken up earlier, that would have prevented the suicide.” Social activist Sajaya Kakarla said, “The police violated the rule of law by talking to the media. They should submit the evidence they have to the court.”
