Hyderabad: Telangana PCC general secretary and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is threatening RTC workers for seeking his attention to their problems.  Speaking to media on Thursday, Mr Prabhakar said the TRS election manifesto had promised salaries at par with government employees to RTC employees and also assured to resolve all the issues of RTC workers.

But when RTC workers brought their issues to the notice of the Chief Minister, Mr Prabhakar said Mr Rao had ignored their requests and dared them to go on a strike. The former MP sought link the Chief Minister’s annoyance to Harish Rao being the honorary president of RTC recognised union. If minister K.T. Rama Rao or TRS MP K. Kavitha was made as honorary president, he said the CM would have no problem.
