Irish woman goes missing at Kovalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 33-year-old Irish woman went missing from Kovalam beach under mysterious circumstances on Wednes-day. The missing person identified as Liga Skromane, was allegedly suffering from depression. She and her younger sister Ilzie had arrived in India a week earlier and were undergoing Ayurveda treatment at Pothencode.

On Wednesday, she left her passport and belongings at the treatment centre and reached Kovalam. She was dropped here at around 7 pm by an auto driver and could not be traced since then. Ilzie has approached Chief Minister's office and City police commissioner P Prakash for help.
