Vijayawada: All the problems related to building plan approval through online were solved, informed VMC commisioner G. Veerapandian in a press meet on Thursday.
He explained that so far they received 589 applications out of which 451 were approved and 120 are pending. He advised the residents to utilise the online service to get approvals speedily. He advised the residents not to consult any middleman to apply for building plans. One could directly upload easily.
On the other hand, he requested the residents to utilise the VMC App for payment of various taxes and other grievances. He said that so far they received just Rs 7 lakh out of Rs 20 crore taxes through the VMC App. He explained that the users could pay money in any mode of online payment options available. with the banks, including ATMs and net banking. He also requested the residents to apply for occupancy certificate as soon as they complete construction of the house.
