On January 12, teams from Jubilee Hills police raided the pub located at Road No. 10 in Jubilee Hills, on a tip-off that many women were indulging in obscenity at the pub.  During the raids, the police rescued 21 women and admitted them to state homes.

A case was registered and the police subsequently arrested Srinivas Naidu and Moin, who hosted the party, and Prasad, who had arranged the dancers.

The party started at about 5.30 pm and the pub was raided at around 7 pm.

Mr Srinivas said the pub has been closed. “There are about 50 pubs in the West Zone. We are monitoring the activities at each pub and action will be taken if anyone is found involved in illegal activities,” said the officer.
