Pollachi: An anonymous Pollachi-based youth has been alerting people through wall posters about the existence of another dangerous online game, ‘Robo-walky’, similar to the deadly 'blue whale' game, even as police dismiss it to be rumor.

Wall posters alerting about ‘Robo-Walky’ online game were seen in Samathoor near Pollachi on Sunday evening.

The poster read: ‘Robo-Walky’ a dangerous online game similar to ‘Blue Whale’ that killed many children.

Police are refusing to believe this when I approached them demanding to take action against the admin of the game."

The yet-to-be-identified youth urged the people to spread awareness about this new danger through WhatsApp, Facebook and other communication means and monitor their children from being hooked to this game, ‘Robo-Walky'.

“I am ready to surrender and help people who are involved in playing and become addict to the game Robo-Walky,” says the unknown youth in the poster.
Strangely, Kottoor police sub-inspector Rajendra Prasadh told DC, that he was not aware of such posters and no one had approached them regarding ‘Robo-walky game’. “It may be a rumour,” he said.  However, the police official promised to enquire about these sensitive wall posters.
