Hyderabad: The BJP on Friday alleged that AP minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao from Visakhapatnam had bought 24.5 acres of land in Survey No. 77 in Miyapur.

Addressing a press conference, party spokesperson M. Raghunandana Rao on Friday said that the Supreme Court in 2014 had ordered that no court should entertain any fresh litigation pertaining to the Miyapur lands.

The then united AP government had ordered officials not to register properties within certain survey numbers in Miyapur.

Mr Rao demanded that the Chief Minister to release a whitepaper containing details of all the murky deals involved in the Miyapur land scam in the Cabinet meeting to be held on Saturday, failing which he would file a Public Interest Litigation case in the High Court on Monday.

He asked the CM to act against his colleague from Ranga Reddy district who helped AP minister’s dealings.”
