Veterinary team captures and sterilizes stray dogs; bitten boy receives prompt medical care

Hyderabad: Following an incident of dog bite in Dilshuknagar on Thursday,  the GHMC said on Friday that it had deployed a unit in the area to catch stray dogs.

The veterinary staff of the corporation caught nine street dogs on Thursday and Friday, it said.

The dogs were sterilised and shifted to the GHMC's animal care centre in Fathullaguda.  The boy who was bitten was given  anti-rabies vaccine and tetanus toxoid (TT) injection at a nearby hospital.
