HYDERABAD:  Nalgonda has the highest 111 micro-containment zones in Telangana due to constantly high cases of Coronavirus in the region since last 15 days.

Despite lockdown restrictions and limitations on movement of people in markets, Nalgonda still has a high number of cases in the district.

Experts say this clearly indicates that safety protocols of masks and social distancing are not being followed in the region. They said such a surge in number of Covid-19 cases in different pockets of the state will impact the overall situation, as economic activity has resumed during relaxation hours.

In Hyderabad too, there has been a slight increase in Coronavirus cases. Their number has increased by 15 compared to the caseload of 173 on Monday.

These small spurts in cases in Hyderabad and Nalgonda indicate that safety protocols are being comprised. Even small gatherings could increase instances of Covid-19.

Unfortunately, vaccination centres are also being seen as another hub for spread of Coronavirus due to large crowds at these places.

Experts maintain that that identifying such vulnerable places and ensuring proper social distancing at these centres is very important.
