Telangana, Andhra Pradesh governments set to divide posts, officials

There are 211 posts and 191 employees are working at present at the tribunal.

Hyderabad: Telagana state and Andhra Pradesh governments have come to an understanding on division of AP Administrative Tribunal posts and employees. On the directions of the High Court the officials of both governments met here on Monday and came to an agreement.

From Telangana, Finance department Principal Secretary K Rama Krishna Rao, from AP Principal Secretary of State Reorganisation L. Premachandra Reddy Administrative Tribunal Registrar Venkata Narasiah and other officials attended the meeting.

There are 211 posts and 191 employees are working at present at the tribunal. The posts would be divided on the basis of population and working employees on the basis of Kamalanathan Committee guidelines.  Of the 191 employees 12 are personal staff of administrative tribunal members. When the members retire the staff will also go.  The number of permanent employees are 179. The AP Principal Secretary Premachandra Reddy said the state government will issue notification and would call  for objections objections after which the bifurcation process will start.
