Warangal: Arrangements in place for Polycet exam

Warangal: All arrangements have been made for conducting the Polycet - 2019 in 16 centres in Warangal, said district coordinator and principal of Government Polytechnic college, Dr B. Prabhakar.

Aspirants seeking admission to various diploma courses in Polytechnic colleges need to qualify this test. The examination will be held between 11 am and 1 pm. Aspirants have to reach the examination centres by 10 am. Post 11 am, entry to the exam hall will be barred.

Candidates must bring an HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, blue or black ink ballpoint pen. No electronic gadgets are allowed inside the hall.

“The duration of the examination is 120 minutes. Candidates will take the test in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The police department, revenue, health and education departments are coordinating to successfully conduct the examination.

“For the first time, in a bid to make it easy for students to locate their examination centres, ‘SBTET exam centre locator’ android application has been introduced this year. Students can log onto the app to identify their centres. For those who want to settle fast in life, the polytechnic course is the right option,” Dr Prabhakar said.
