Hyderabad: RO nod must for holding poll rallies

Hyderabad: In view of the ensuing general elections, commissioner of police  and additional district magistrate of the twin cities of Hyderabad  and Secunderabad have issued orders stating the permission from district election officer (DEO) or returning officer (RO)  is necessary to organise  or conduct any meeting, processions, or rallies.

Anjani Kumar, commissioner of police, Hyderabad city said, “Organisers, political parties and contesting candidates are requested to apply for written permission for proposed public meetings, processions, padayatra, road shows, star campaigns, rallies and mobile campaign.
