Maha Kumbhabhisekham held at Uttara Tirupati

Hundreds of devotees thronged Uttara Tirupati temple to participate in the auspicious Maha Kumbhabhisekham and installation of idols.

Nizamabad: Installation of idols and Maha Kumbhabhisekam was performed on a grand scale at Uttara Tirupati in Nizamabad on Friday. Idols of Sri Chakrasameta Laxmi Devi, Ganapati, Anjaneya Swamy, Dattatreya Swamy and Sadashiva Swamy were installed at the temple complex at Gangastan-II in the presence of Mysuru Avaduta Datta Peetadipati Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy.

Hundreds of devotees thronged Uttara Tirupati temple to participate in the auspicious Maha Kumbhabhisekham and installation of idols. Echoes of “Govinda Govinda” rent the air.

Uttara Tirupati was decorated with flowers, colourful lights and saffron flags. Devotees sat at the venue and the buildings closest to Gangastan-II for a glimpse of the programme. Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy said that devotees should participate at least in three Maha Kumbhabhisekams in their lifetime.
