Padayatras will not make Jagan CM, says N Raghuveera Reddy
Mr Raghuveera Reddy observed that the Assembly sessions would be a venue to expose the lapses of the ruling government.
Anantapur: APCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy has told YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in no uncertain terms that padayatras would not make him Chief Minister, unless he justified his post as leader of the opposition in the Assembly. While pointing out the failure of YSRC MLAs in not taking part in the ongoing Assembly sessions, Mr Raghuveera Reddy observed that the Assembly sessions would be a venue to expose the lapses of the ruling government and also to censure the government over apathetic policies.
Speaking to media at Neelakantapuram in the district on Tuesday, Mr Reddy recalled the Telugu Desam supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu got the Chief Minister’s chair only due to the state bifurcation when Mr Naidu provoked people with his speeches and protests against the Centre. The APCC chief also observed that GST by the NDA government created problems for tens of crores of people who were facing an additional burden due to un-economic policies by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
