Hyderabad: The kin of top Telugu Desam leaders including Nara Brahmani, J.C. Pavan Reddy, T.G. Bharat and Daggubati Suresh met Congress President Rahul Gandhi at a meeting of industrialists on Tuesday at Taj Krishna. Apart from Special Category Status for the state, the closed-door meeting discussed the impact of demonetisation, GST and the industrial policy.

Around 120 entrepreneurs from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participated in the meeting. While not wanting to divulge the details of the meeting, Mr. J C Pavan Reddy son of TDP leader J C Diwakar Reddy said, “It was an informal setting where a jovial and enthusiastic Gandhi interacted with entreprenuers.

Mr.Gandhi spoke about his thoughts on the economy, focus areas when he comes to power and impact of GST on industries. He said that special status was the government of India’s commitment and he would stand by it when he came to power.”  Mr Gandhi apparently said his primary area of focus would be job creation and hoped a coalition government would be formed in the upcoming elections. These interactions were done as  part of the young presidents organisation and entrepreneurs organisation (EO).
