Vishakhapatnam: TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy on Saturday underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Niti Ayog have appreciated YSRC government’s volunteers’ system in Andhra Pradesh.

“But (TDP chief N.) Chandrababu Naidu and (Jana Sena president) Pawan Kalyan are making reckless comments against volunteers,” Subba Reddy, who is also regional coordinator of YSRC party for Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts, regretted.

Speaking to media after a meeting with YSRC corporators in Visakhapatnam, the TTD chairman said, “Volunteers have never resorted to extortion like Janma Bhoomi committee members. They also did splendid service to people during Covid-19 pandemic.”

Subba Reddy said YSRC is ready for a public debate on the volunteer system.

Answering a question, Subba Reddy said soon Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's Camp Office will be in Visakhapatnam. He disclosed that the CM may shift to Visakhapatnam either in August or September. “They delay is due to legal hurdles,” he added.
