Good turnout of high-risk group for COVID vaccine in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The government’s initiative to vaccinate high-risk groups has successfully completed its 18-day drive against coronavirus in all the 31 centers in GHMC jurisdiction.

With 32, 150 persons getting vaccinated on Monday, the total number of people taking the jab stood at 5,46,071.

Meanwhile, those coming for the jab at Government High School in Musheerabad faced inconvenience, as rain water was stagnated in the school premises.

One of those who turned up Hamsavaniamma, said “this is how they arrange. What if we slip and fall. The authorities should not everything lightly.”
Meanwhile, GHMC stated that on Monday, they had distributed 71,120 food packets, taking the overall tally from May 13 to June 14 to 21,93,695.
