KOZHIKODE: When the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (C-ICSE) announced the Class X results on Friday, Malabar outshined others. Among the 17 ICSE board schools here, both girls and boys equally have put up an impressive performance with 100 per cent results. The highest score of St Francis English Medium School, Kundayithode, is 95 percent. All 54 students passed with excellent scores.

With little difference in points, the highest score from St Mary’s English Medium School, Chevarambalam, was 94 percent. St Francis English Medium School principal Shoba Mohan said ten students of her school scored full A plus, six less than last year. “It's a proud moment for the school,” she said.

"Though few subjects were tough, students managed to perform well, and the credit goes to the intensive training for two months prior examination.” St Mary’s English Medium School holds the record for placing the most number of students from the district for the exam - 80.  Auxilium Nava Jyoti HSS, Kunnamangalam, is another one that put up a good show.
