VIJAYAWADA: Annadata, a movie by R. Narayana Murthy,  should be permitted for release by the Censor Board without any obstruction, said Vadde Sobhanaadreeswara Rao, former minister for agriculture.

He addressed a gathering, along with Ravula Venkaiah, leader of Akhila Bharata Kisan Sabha, here on Saturday.

They said that they wrote a letter to Jeevita Rajashekar, chairman, of the Censor Board.  They said they saw the preview of the movie and that it is the story based on the farmer who faced many troubles during  demonetisation.

As it is a true story, the Censor Board has to give permission for the release of the movie, they demanded.
