Telangana Human Rights Commission asks for report on minor rape

The Hyderabad collector has ordered compensation for the victim.

Hyderabad: The State Human Rights Commission asked the south zone DCP to file a report on the rape of a 14-year-old girl by November 1. The incident occurred on September 24 and came to light on September 28 when the girl’s parents asked about her illness.

MBT leader Amjadullah Khan who filed a complaint with the SHRC said the accused was threatening the victim’s family after being freed on bail.  The victim’s family informed the DGP about the as the Chatrinaka police was not responding, he said. The Hyderabad collector has ordered compensation for the victim.
