Baby girl abandoned at Government Maternity Hospital in Petlaburj

Hyderabad: A baby girl was abandoned at the Government Maternity Hospital in Petlaburj by biological parents Yasin and Osman and a case has been registered in Charminar police station.  The parents, residents of Nawab Kunta in Old City disowned the baby as she is the third female child of the couple. 

The child was born on August 4 and the mother was in the hospital for seven days.  A senior doctor said, “We verified and found that that Yasin had left her child behind. A police case has been registered and the baby is being taken care of by the hospital as she is too young.”
