Award for IIM Bangalore online courses

Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore was recently honoured by President Pranab Mukherjee for its initiatives in making management education accessible to all through Massive Open Online Courses. At present five such courses are available on the Swayam platform run by the government and IIMB is the national coordinator. Professor P.D. Jose, Chairman, IIMB Digital Learning, accepted the award from the President on behalf of IIMB. IMB Director Professor G Raghuram said that such courses offer multifold benefits to the higher education in the country. “IIMB is committed to offering high-quality management education on Swayam platform and will strive to become a knowledge hub for digital learning in India,” he said.
