Allahabad: Using Kairana and Mathura incidents to attack the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) government in Uttar Pradesh, BJP president Amit Shah on Monday claimed his party was the only political outfit that can challenge the Mualaym Singh Yadav led party.

Describing Kairana incident as an “eye openor”, Mr Shah' while addressing the ‘Parivartan Rally’ at Parade Ground, said if UP does not want a repeat of the incident of alleged mass exodus of Hindu families, SP government needs to be “thrown out.”

Kairana and Mathura incidents will be part of saffron party’s electoral strategy for the Assembly elections in UP scheduled early next year. Many feel that Kairana incidents could be used to communalise the atmosphere ahead of the elections.

While deteriorating law and order situation in the state will be the main weapon against the ruling party, Mayawati’s BSP will be attacked over corruption and supporting the Congress.

He said many people centric schemes have been launched by the Modi led NDA government but the SP government was not implementing many of these central schemes. He said whether it was SP, BSP or Congress, their only aim is to conspire against the Modi government.
