Confident YSRC hits out at Chandrababu Naidu

Kadapa: Mr Suresh Babu, YSRC district president and mayor, Kadapa, on Saturday criticised the Telugu Desam for what he claimed as unacceptable behaviour during the election.

Addressing the media with Mr Anjad Basha (MLA, Kadapa) and Ravindranath Reddy (MLA, Kamalapuram), at the district party office, he said that public mandate was clearly in favour of YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. The party will win with not less than 135 MLAs in the state, he claimed. He said that Mr Chandrababu Naidu was not able to accept the fact.

TD leaders, he alleged, were trying to side-track the murder of former minister Vivekananda Reddy and say that family members are involved in the case.

Mr Ravindranath Reddy alleged that Mr Naidu has not done any things for the development of the state in the last five years. With the election approaching, he was given cheques to farmers in the name of Annadatha Sukhibhava, he added. He expressed confidence that YSRC would form the government in the state.

Mr Anjad Basha said that the high polling percentage indicated victory for YSRC. Even though EVMs failed to function properly in so many places, voters waited for hours to cast their vote. He thanked the voters in his constituency.

He alleged that Mr Naidu did not talk of development and welfare during his public meetings and chose to blame Jagan Mohan Reddy, he added. In Guntur area, the Chief Minister said if jagan comes to power, he will move the capital from Amaravathi to Kadapa while in Rayalaseema he spoke about a rowdy rajyam.
