Hyderabad: Police claim clear evidence of rape

Hyderabad: In the case of Disha, investigating officers claim that crucial evidence proves that the four persons arrested and gunned down had sexually assaulted the victim.

The DNA samples collected from the victim are said to have matched with that of her parents’ DNA, according to sources.

The samples were collected at the crime scene at Chattanpally. The upper body was sent for analysis at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory.

“The DNA samples prove that the missing woman was the one who was killed and burnt under the bridge at Chattanpally under NH 44,” said an official.

The police claim sperm samples collected from the  spot matched with the DNA of the four accused persons.
