CM Pinarayi Vijayan asks for donation to relief fund

The contributions to the Chief Minister's relief fund are exempted from income tax under the IT Act section 80 G(2) (IIIHF).

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday appealed to all sections of society to donate towards Ockhi Cyclone relief fund for the rehabilitation of the affected families. The contributions to the Chief Minister's relief fund are exempted from income tax under the IT Act section 80 G(2) (IIIHF).

The contribution through cheques should be sent on the address to principal secretary (finance) treasurer, Chief Minister's relief fund, secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram - 1.  For transferring money online the following account number may be used; account number: 67319948232, State Bank of India , City Branch Thiruvananthapuram.
