JEE Advanced-2016: 29 Telugu students into top-100 rankers' list

Jivitesh Duggani secured all-India fourth rank to secure the top rank in OBC category as well as South Zone.

Hyderabad: Students from Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh excelled in JEE Advanced-2016 results that were announced on Sunday.

Five students from the region featured in the top-10 rankers’ list. All of them are keen on joining Computer Science engineering at IIT (Bombay). Twenty-nine Telugu students made their way into the top-100 rankers’ list.

Jivitesh Duggani secured all-India fourth rank to secure the top rank in OBC category as well as South Zone. Others to crack the top-10 list are Saiteja Talluri (5th), Nikhil Samrat (7th), Sai Praneeth Reddy (8th) and Konda Vignesh Reddy (10th).
